This film was born from a contradiction: returning to live in Panama, I found myself torn between what seemed convenient for achieving my goals and the person my heart was screaming for me to be. That inner battle ignited even more during the 2023 anti-mining protests, when Serena Vamvas and I took to the streets dressed as a mouse and a clown, channeling our discontent through art. Inside that costume, I found the freedom to truly be myself. I realized this wasn’t just my internal struggle—it was a collective feeling. Revolutions begin in the heart, and telling stories from there is the only way to truly connect.
